With a new academic year underway at colleges across Montana, bioscience remains at the forefront of research and education. Historically more than half of Montana’s research activity, 55 percent of total R&D spending, was dedicated to advancing discoveries in biotechnology, life sciences, and related fields. Students at the University of Montana, Montana State University, Montana Tech and our private and two-year/community colleges are stepping into classrooms and laboratories, preparing to contribute to the next generation of bioscience innovation.
