Villagio: Huge affordable housing complex houses nearly 600 Missoulians

The $42 million Villagio is the largest single affordable housing project in Montana history based on the number of bedrooms, 503.

The Villagio serves households with incomes between 30% and 60% of Area Median Income, which translates to people earning between $25,900 and $51,840 per year, or up to $24.92 per hour for a family of four. Nearly half of all residents are considered very low-income, and rents for the two-, three- and four-bedroom units range from $1,062 per month to $1,253 per month.
