Video – Building Remarkable – Meadowlark Brewing Expansion with Allison Corbyn – Big Sky Economic Development

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

While some view the addition of craft brewing as great for the coolness factor of our community and tourism (which it certainly is) – I see the tremendous opportunity to add value to Montana’s agricultural products. Meadowlark’s commitment to using products from our region is second to none and is a fantastic example of how we can grow this economy, one beer at a time.

I had the opportunity to interview Meadowlark Brewing about their major expansion in Billings. It has been exciting to watch this project unfold from my first trip out to Sidney to see their footprint there (which will continue), through the 2020 switch from distilling beer to making hand sanitizer when communities were in need, to supporting them on a state grant to help with preliminary engineering, to now – almost ready to open their doors!
