In a few years, Bay Area air travelers will be able to rise above the airport traffic when United Airlines and its partner Eve Air Mobility introduce all-electric VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) air taxi service here. The two companies announced this week that they expect to introduce their Urban Air Mobility project to San Francisco in 2026, “launching electric commuter flights throughout the Bay Area.”
