Travel TV Host, Marketing Expert to Headline State Tourism Conference in Butte April 14–16

The Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation is coming to Butte from April 14–16, and the Department of Commerce recently announced keynote speakers for the event.

TV personality and former Travel Channel host Samantha Brown will deliver the opening presentation, followed by author and marketing expert Kelly McDonald, and finally U.S. Travel Association executive Jonathan Grella.

Other special guest speakers include Gov. Steve Bullock, Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney and Yellowstone National Park Superintendent Cam Sholly.

“The Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation provides outstanding value and actionable insights for small business owners, hospitality and retail professionals, community leaders and others working to maximize the economic impact of tourism in their communities,” said Jan Stoddard, Industry Services and Outreach bureau chief for the Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development at Commerce.
