The ‘Gem’ Between – Montana’s Izaak Walton Inn is a thriving year-round destination

In 1939, a hotel was built in Essex in anticipation of a new entrance to Glacier Park. The entrance never came, but 80 years later Izaak Walton Inn is a wondrous experience, especially for train lovers (stay in one of the cabooses…).
