SolarWorld: Germany’s fastest-growing company opens plant in Oregon

SolarWorld AG http://www.solarworld.de/?L=1 , the manufacturer producing solar cells in a recently opened Hillsboro plant, has been named Germany’s fastest growing company.

Bain & Co., the management consulting firm, named SolarWorld the fastest-growing public company in Germany for 2008. Bonn-based SolarWorld succeeds by concentrating on solar-power technology while covering the spectrum ranging from raw-material silicon to finished solar panels, Bain said.
