Beyond that big donation, Scheels challenged other local businesses on Thursday to give more by offering to match their donations. Access Fitness, Ferrin’s Furniture, Guy Tabbaco Construction, JC Penney, Pacific Steel and Recycling, Pepsi, Sletten Construction and TD&H Engineering rose to the challenge, bringing in another $7,400 in donations and magnifying their impact in the community.
