Remote vacation ranch K Bar L keeps true to Montana roots

The K Bar L http://www.kbarlranch.com/ isn’t a Montana destination you just pop in to for a day.

Tucked along the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, the only way to reach the remote ranch is either by boating down Gibson Reservoir or, after the water level drops, hike or travel by horseback down the seven-mile trail along the lake.

There is no quick run to the grocery store if you forgot something.
