Ravalli County asks governor to consider economic plan for revitalization following pandemic
June 1, 2020 /
Ravalli County had been on an economic roll before the wheels came off with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this spring.
Now state, county and local officials are asking the governor to consider a locally created plan they say will help the county to regain that momentum once the pandemic passes.
The resulting 20-page COVID-19 Emerge Strong Plan analyzed the needs of economic drivers impacted by the pandemic and created a near $22 million budget to stabilize and rebuild those businesses.
