On Jan. 24, 2003, Sandra Thares of the O’Haire Motor Inn got a call from GQ Magazine. The motel’s bar, The Sip ‘n Dip Tiki Lounge http://www.ohairemotorinn.com/?p=sip-n-dip , was named the number one bar on earth worth flying to.

Nine years later to the day, she got a call from a film production crew that wanted to film a pilot for a reality television series about the Sip ‘n Dip. The pilot will be pitched to cable networks.

"I should start playing those numbers in the lottery, they are lucky for us," said Thares.
