Prospera Business Network announces $200,000 Job Training Grant for CDI- Aerospace’s Bozeman Business Unit Start-Up

Prospera Business Network http://www.ProsperaBusinessNetwork.com announced today the award of a $200,000 job training grant to support CDI-Aerospace’s http://www.cdicorp.com/aerospace/aerospace.html start-up of their Bozeman engineering design center. The CDI design center employs engineers that perform targeted airframe and subsystem detail design for Sikorsky Aircraft. CDI has projected that they will hire and train over forty employees during the start-up phase of this project. CDI Manager Dan Rister states, “We have been successful in our goal of partnering with Montana State University in the recruitment of local engineering graduates who are seeking work in the aerospace industry.”

Funding for the project comes from the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund Program which is managed by the Montana Department of Commerce. Prospera Business Network has assisted CDI in this business unit start-up and administers this job training grant for the City of Bozeman, the grant fund recipient. “This project is a great example of collaboration between the City of Bozeman, Montana Department of Commerce and Prospera Business Network in supporting CDI in this exciting business venture here in Bozeman. Bringing in an expanding Aerospace company like CDI is a terrific asset for our local economy,” stated Bob Hietala, CEO of Prospera Business Network.
