Tammy Lacey said she was hoping for the best but preparing for the worst in terms of the state coming through in its recent legislative session with public preschool funding.

It looks like now the Great Falls Public School superintendent will have to prepare for the worst as bills to bring money to such programs failed in the 87-day legislative session which adjourned Thursday.
