Oregon companies enjoy banner year

While Oregon’s economy remained in the tank throughout 2010, the state’s publicly traded companies enjoyed a banner year.

Three Oregon companies — Lattice Semiconductor http://www.latticesemi.com/ , Greenbrier Cos. http://www.gbrx.com/ and TriQuint Semiconductor http://www.triquint.com/ — were particularly strong. Their stock prices doubled, or nearly doubled, as the high-tech and transportation industries rebounded from historic downturns.
