Ohio State President Kristina M. Johnson wants Ohio State undergraduates to be able to leave school debt-free in the next 10 years.
It’s just one of the ambitious goals Johnson laid out in her first State of the University address Thursday afternoon, which was held virtually because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is well within our reach, and we will lead the nation as the first university to offer a zero-debt bachelor’s degree at scale,” Johnson said.
