NorthWestern Energy wants your input on Montana’s energy future
August 22, 2019 /
NorthWestern Energy is asking Montanans to join the conversation about the future of energy in our state.
NorthWestern supports adding more carbon-free generation to the Montana energy portfolio. We expect to be 70 percent carbon free by the end of 2019. We believe, and Montana law mandates, that this should be done at the lowest, long-term total cost, without risking service reliability. We spend considerable time and resources modeling all types of energy supply portfolios, including adding more renewable energy and the use of energy storage technologies.
