Nonprofit Congress Seeks Montana Delegates for National Meeting

The application process http://givevoice.org/ct/k1L0lZE19zba/ for delegates to the Nonprofit Congress National Meeting is now open. MNA encourages all who are interested in serving as a Montana delegate to apply.

Approximately 500 state nonprofit delegates will gather in the nation’s capital on October 16–17, 2006 for the Nonprofit Congress National Meeting. During the meeting, delegates will craft a unified vision and message for the nonprofit sector. This “platform” will be informed by local Town Hall meetings being held across the country that bring together local grassroots nonprofit leaders and their allies. MNA is planning several town hall meetings for June and July as well as MNA’s 5th Annual Conference.

In order to ensure that voices of Montana’s nonprofits are heard, MNA is encouraging leaders – including staff and volunteers – from a wide range of nonprofits to apply.

In addition to applying to be a delegate to the National Meeting, individuals and organizations can get involved by signing the initiative’s Declaration for America’s Nonprofits http://givevoice.org/ct/ipL0lZE19zbq/ , participating in Montana’s local Town Hall meetings (information forthcoming), and providing input online through the discussion forums on the Nonprofit Congress website.

The application and more information are available online at http://www.nonprofitcongress.org.
