Montana’s 3 term democratic U.S. Senator Tester says farewell

U.S. Senator Jon Tester delivered his farewell speech from the Senate floor on Monday, reflecting on his 18-year congressional career. The three-term Democrat sprinkled humor and heart into his 25-minute-long speech. He thanked voters, staff, peers and family for their support throughout the years. Tester emphasized his hope that the Senate will focus on key issues such as public education, affordable healthcare and efforts to strengthen the middle class.
