Montanan’s need to be aware and informed – Air ambulances can save lives — but bills are a nasty surprise for many

Over the last few years air ambulances that don’t contract with insurance companies have moved into the state. Over the last few years, more than 20 people and families have come to the auditor’s office with pleas for help fighting bills of up to $85,000.
