Montana State University’s Community Design Center is celebrating 50 years as it continues to shape communities across the state.
The program helps students create architectural concepts for towns and organizations around Montana.
“We try to gain an understanding to the best of our ability of the client’s desires and wishes and what the essence of the community is, and through that listening and those activities and design charts, we’re able to help the client and be guides for them,” said Jordan Zignego, assistant professor and Community Design Center director.
The center was founded in 1976 and has completed over 50 projects across the state.
