Montana State University – ‘Mountains & Minds’ Fall 2022 Magazine

The magazine includes several long-form stories with accompanying photography that are of statewide and regional interest, including the following:
- A bond built on rodeo, highlighting the efforts of sisters Shelby and Paige Rasmussen, who helped the MSU women’s rodeo team to a national title.
- Shooting for the moon, detailing a longtime project seeking to solve a problem in outer space. The project also provided numerous MSU students with hands-on experience.
- ‘We belong to the communities,’ celebrating 50 years of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.
- Advancing entrepreneurship, highlighting a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem at MSU that helps students, faculty and alumni thrive.
- Cybersecurity’s front line, detailing MSU’s expanded academic offerings in cybersecurity.
- STEM looks like me, featuring the collaborative efforts of MSU professors and teachers across Montana to help kids see themselves in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
- A curiosity about coffee, featuring MSU alumnus and Starbucks “coffee guy” Dave Olsen.
