Montana Next Generation of Community and Economic Development Tools Report Released; Your Input and Recommendations Requested by July 27th

MEDA

Dear MEDA Members and Partners,

The Montana Economic Developers Association, in conjunction with the Montana Chamber Foundation and dozens of partners across the state, are excited to announce the completion of the Next Generation of Community and Economic Development Tools Analysis provided by TIP Strategies. This work sets the stage for important dialogue among our stakeholders and policy makers, with the goal of making Montana more competitive— moving from economic recovery to economic success in the midst of changing times.

Please find attached your copy of the final report of the Montana Next Generation of Community and Economic Development Tools.  We have included a recommendations matrix to highlight the report’s key findings (and you can read more about them starting on page 48 of the report).  You may also find these documents on our webpage:  https://www.medamembers.org/mt-next-generation-of-tools

To help us prioritize our next steps, I am asking you to complete our brief survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NextGenComments   so we can hear from you – what topics and themes interest you.

The results of the survey will help inform our work as we begin to set priorities with our membership and partners in the continuation of our Next Gen Project. Please have your responses submitted by Monday, July 27th.

We thank you for your time and commitment as we continue to advance this very important and timely work.

Respectfully,

Brian Obert

President
