Montana commerce leaders tour Terry, highlight community development resources. MEDA Montana Community Reviews are Available

Montana Department of Commerce officials spent six hours exploring Terry and Prairie County on Tuesday before giving a public presentation about the Montana Main Street Program and how the community can continue to take advantage of state resources as it fosters economic growth and development.
Montana Main Street Program Coordinator Micky Zurcher and her colleague Ann Schwend, a community planning supervisor with the Montana Department of Commerce, had two goals for their visit to Terry this week: refresh locals on what the Montana Main Street Program has to offer the community and share available funding and community planning assistance resources.
The Montana Main Street Program currently offers a total of about $100,000 annually in total grant funding aside from other Montana Department of Commerce grants. Additionally, Zurcher noted there are various resources available to people in member communities at no cost such as a monthly call when she checks in with communities to see what projects they are working on and shares ideas for more community development.
MEDA is excited to announce that applications for Montana Community Reviews are now open!
