Montana Career Opportunity – Director of BillingsWorks

BillingsWorks is looking for an innovative, driven, forward thinker who loves our community and is ready to tackle Workforce Development for Yellowstone County as the Director of BillingsWorks. The Director of BillingsWorks will manage and support a collaboration of over 80+ private businesses as well as civic, non-profit, city and county leaders.

The primary responsibility will be to implement the Council’s "State of the Workforce Report" and Action Plan, which outlines the current workforce assets as well as a strategic plan. The BillingsWorks Director will continue the Council’s outstanding community engagement process and assist the Workforce Council as they discover new ways to keep Yellowstone County as a vibrant place to work as well as help bring talent to our community.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited four-year college/university with a degree in business or related field; three+ years of successful experience in workforce, human resources, public relations or communications for business or community-based organization; or a combination of experience and education that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work at a high level.
