Missoula’s after-school Flagship program seeks funding, volunteers

Flagship

The Flagship Program in Missoula has been keeping kids busy after school for 23 years. They have around 2,000 youth participants each year. Now they say they need more volunteers and funding to keep the program running smoothly.

A lot of their volunteers come from the University of Montana, but UM’s enrollment is still declining, and Flagship organizers say that affects the number of volunteers for the after-school program.

Flagship offers three to four after-school programs every day in schools around Missoula.
