Missoula, Montana’s Rattlesnake Cable Company Featured at the 2026 Google Business Summit in Washington, D.C.

We had an opportunity to be featured on the 2025 Google Economic Impact Report for the state of Montana.

The folks at Google found the Rattlesnake Cable Company – they were interested in our story, our products (not what you’d typically see out of Montana), and were impressed with how we use leverage Google – YouTube subs, Google Reviews, Google Ads, etc. They reached out to us and had a variety of interviews, and their team selected us. It was quite the honor and surprise.

Last month, they again reached out to us to attend the 2026 Google Business Summit in Washington, D.C. This was an extremely interesting summit where they brought in 50 businesses around the country to their office for networking, keynote speakers, breakout groups, and panel discussions. In addition, we also had a chance to speak with officials on Capitol Hill about the impact of AI regulations, Data Privacy regulations, etc., and how they can potentially impact small businesses. I personally attended the Montana Constituent Coffee meeting at the Senator’s office building and had quick chats with Senator Daines and Senator Sheehy.

The whole experience was incredibly inspiring and motivating to engage with a variety of small businesses – to hear their struggles, their wins, and to develop some great connections with these individuals. As a small business owner, it’s easy to feel isolated, siloed, and somewhat stagnant in the day-to-day. Having energetic conversations with an outside perspective and gaining that confidence from that was a massive win for me.

I hope they ask me back. The networking alone was worth it.
