Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis joins Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative

City of Missoula

Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis traveled to New York City on Sunday to join 40 other city leaders from around the world to kick off the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, which aims to improve outcomes for local leaders and their communities.

Davis is the lone mayor from Montana and one of 27 U.S. mayors selected for the program. Other top city officials came from Africa, Europe, Oceania and Canada, the Initiative told the Missoulian.

Davis and the 40 other mayors went through “a combination of intensive classroom, virtual, and field-based learnings and offerings” in New York City, according to a press release from the program.

“You can share ideas, support each other and get straight scoops on the good, the bad and the ugly,” Davis said in a statement.
