Missoula explores electric vehicle future with community feedback

An open house in Missoula on Friday brought the conversation about electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure to Western Montana. The event offered the public a chance to explore the benefits of an electric vehicle future and discuss how their community can adapt.
Residents in Missoula expressed optimism about the feasibility of EVs in their area. The city already has infrastructure like charging stations in place. A Missoula resident shared that EVs are a practical choice for local errands.
“It does 99% of our around town errands. We drop our kids off at school, we go to local trailheads. It’s no problem at all. The more that we can do to encourage that use and acceptance is going to be helpful,” said Norman Singley, a Missoula resident and EV owner.
