Missoula Co. considering solar energy for fairgrounds

While the cost benefits might be unknown at this time, county commissioners say the project would improve the fairgrounds’ carbon footprint, which would help fall in line with county goals.

 

“NorthWestern Energy doesn’t allow you to aggregate meters in that kind of campus setting, so the conversation that we have had with Diane is would NorthWestern Energy entertain that idea of kind of looking at the fairgrounds as a more holistic campus setting,” Bryce Christiaens said.
