Missoula Children’s Theatre Musical theater academy faces shortage of students

They’ve got the star power, the name recognition and most of the logistics worked out.

But the leaders of Next Step Prep http://www.mctinc.org/nextstepprep – Missoula’s academy of musical theater – are lacking what they need most.

Students.

With two weeks left until the application deadline passes, the inaugural intensive summer season of Next Step Prep has only half the students it needs to make the seven-week session financially viable.

And “financially viable” isn’t a phrase you hear much these days.
