Missoula Chamber Leadership Transition

Missoula Chamber of Commerce

I am reaching out today to make you aware of a leadership transition at the Chamber. Mark Losh is no longer the CEO of our organization, and I am serving in an acting capacity as CEO. It is important to myself, our Board of Directors, and our outstanding staff that Chamber members are the first to hear of this leadership transition.

In the coming weeks, we will have more information available about the search for a new CEO. It is our intent to move swiftly through this process and identify a leader who can successfully execute our goals and priorities, as well as fiercely advocate for Missoula businesses. We had robust interest in this position last year, and I am very optimistic we will identify a strong candidate for the position in short order.

We have a busy fall ahead of us, with numerous events and networking opportunities. I want to personally extend an invite to our 134th Annual Banquet at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn. Anyone in our region can attend this vibrant event and registration, sponsorship opportunities, and award nomination forms are available online. We also encourage our members to engage with the Chamber as we prepare for the upcoming legislative session, where we plan to aggressively fight for pro-business policies in Helena.

As always, thank you for being members of Missoula’s longest-running business advocacy organization. We are very excited for the months ahead as we continue to foster business relationships and drive commerce in our valley.

Please reach out to myself or our staff with any questions or inquiries about Chamber events and resources.

Sincerely,

John Brauer

Chair of the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
