Middle-school students learn life skills through Missoula Children’s Theater performance

Children are quick learners and they proved that yet again last week as they learned an hourlong theater show in five days and performed it twice on Saturday.

Students at Hawthorne Elementary rehearsed every day last week after school with actors from the Missoula Children’s Theatre http://www.mctinc.org/ and delighted audiences with "The Princess and the Pea."

MCT, founded 35 years ago, is the nation’s largest touring children’s theater visiting nearly 1,300 communities this year. The touring team brings set lights, costumes, props and makeup to each town, and the cast is selected at each venue.
