Merrill Bradshaw Carpentry Completes Two Beautiful Van Conversion Projects Using Reclaimed Lumber

Merrill Bradshaw Carpentry

My latest work during the summer were two van conversion projects. This is the latest rage for road travlers and campers.

What makes these conversions special are the materials used, function, and precision.
For instance, I used two exquisite reclaimed lumbers: ancient redwood from a water tank near Logan, MT, and quarter sawn douglas fir from a warehouse near Seattle. The van with the douglas fir is equipped with push to open drawers and doors, eliminating exterior hardware and able to express a sleek, modern look when finished. The other vans interior used redwood and walnut for sturdy 4wheelin ,and 4 season, rugged camping.
Both vans’ owners live near Missoula.
