Looking for a job? Opportunities abound at four-day job fair in Caldwell, Idaho

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

More than 60 employers will look to hire workers at one of the largest job fairs in recent memory spanning four days next week in Caldwell.

The hiring event will run from 9 a.m. to noon starting on Monday, June 19. The job fair will take place at the Idaho Department of Labor’s Canyon County office at 4514 Thomas Jefferson St. in Caldwell.

Employers are looking to hire more than 1,100 positions, said Elizabeth Anzaldua, workforce consultant at Labor’s Canyon County office. About 680 job seekers attended the same event last year, she said.
