LightBox CEO says more states, including Montana, are taking broadband mapping into their own hands

LightBox provides a geospatial mapping service and was previously tapped by officials in Georgia and Alabama to help create detailed broadband coverage maps. This week, Montana also selected LightBox to help it get a more accurate picture of the broadband landscape there.

Montana latest state to build broadband coverage map

The same company that helped Georgia and Alabama build their statewide broadband maps has contracted with the State of Montana to create its own map, Gov. Greg Gianforte announced on Monday.
