Kiplinger’s Personal Finance ranks Billings in top 10 places to live

Mayor Tom Hanel proudly touts Billings at groundbreakings, conferences and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. And, his job as the city’s promoter in chief just got a whole lot easier after Kiplinger’s Personal Finance named Billings as one of the nation’s top 10 places to live.

Hanel was pleased with the national recognition, although it didn’t come as a big surprise.

"I pay attention to the national economy, and there’s a lot of envy toward Billings because we’re financially solid," Hanel said.
