John Kill Eagle, the first Montana Tech graduate student supported by the Sloan Indigenous Graduate Partnership, will defend his technical paper Monday.

January 11, 2009/

This will allow him to complete his master’s degree in hydrogeological engineering in the Department of Geological Engineering at Tech.

The partnership addresses the national need for academically prepared American Indians who can help direct economic development and leadership in their communities and reservations.
