Montana’s "fiber hotels" are in Billings, Helena, Missoula and Bozeman as well as an additional 47,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art, "tier 3" grade data center in Billings

iConnect Montana provides carrier-neutral data center and collocation facilities in multiple locations across Montana. The company’s first facility, located in Billings, became operational in December of 1999. Since that time, the company has not only significantly expanded the Billings facility, but also added additional sites in Helena, Missoula and Bozeman. These sites have become known as Montana’s "fiber hotels."

The Montana fiber hotels have become important and very busy Internet on-ramps where Montana companies can not only interconnect directly with each other, they can also cost-effectively connect directly to the region’s major Internet backbone providers. The facilities are equipped to provide the conditioned power and cooling that the specialized telecom equipment requires along with generator backup power. The fiber hotels are not only extremely cost-effective, they are also extremely reliable.

Most recently, iConnect opened a second Billings facility – – a 47,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art, "tier 3" grade data center. This facility is attracting a growing list of both domestic and foreign companies that are relocating their servers to Billings from higher-cost sites in places such as California. This facility is already responsible for millions of out-of-state dollars being injected into Montana’s economy.

iConnect Montana is wholly owned by three of Montana’s most respected and financially stable telecommunications companies:

* Triangle (headquartered in Havre);

* Nemont (headquartered in Scobey); and

* Northern (headquartered in Sunburst).

These rural telcos have invested millions of dollars to build out more than 50,000 square feet (and growing) of Montana fiber hotel and data center space. These facilities are built and operated using the same dedication to customer service and reliability for which the company’s owners are known.
