Group gives Idaho B in job creation, F in pay

Idaho gets high marks for employment growth but a failing grade for the quality of the jobs created in an annual economic development report card released today.

For the second year in a row, the Corporation for Enterprise Development’s Report Card for the States awards Idaho a B for job creation, but an F for the earning power of its new jobs.

The Corporation for Enterprise Development, or CFED, is a Washington-based, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to expand economic opportunity for low-income residents.
