More than 150 medical experts, scientists, teachers, nurses and others have signed on to an open letter calling on U.S. leaders to “shut it down, start over, do it right,” asking for the country to be locked down again to control the spread of the coronavirus.

“You have people just go absolutely ballistic over it. I had one woman from Kentucky tell me you can’t get coronavirus here, and we’re a bunch of idiots for wearing masks,” said Susan.
