Greater Montana Foundation doubles grant for MAPS Media Institute

The Greater Montana Foundation http://greatermontana.org/ continued its support of the MAPS Media Institute http://www.mapsmediainstitute.com/ for the third year and doubled the grant award to $20,000 due to the MAPS’ curriculum expansion of their entrepreneur class and summer program.

"For the last 12 years, the MAPS program has grown in size and scope," said GMF executive director Sidney Armstrong. "The Greater Montana Foundation Board of Directors appreciates the overall program, including MAPS addition of the new entrepreneur class, which will help students create their own businesses, along with the new summer session. We applaud the two Awards of Excellence from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Northwest (NATAS, NW), for students’ work. We hope the additional funding from GMF will support their continuing and future growth."
