Gallatin County to take over tourism district from Bozeman

Gallatin County

Gallatin County will oversee and expand Bozeman’s tourism business improvement district, incorporating hotels in Three Forks and Belgrade.

The county commissioners voted unanimously this week to take over the district. They will finalize their decision with a second vote later this month.

“It’s become apparent that a lot of the tourism business happens in the entire valley and its incorporated communities … so it takes the current district and places it in the county, which is really the logical place for it to be,” Commissioner Don Seifert said.
