As Montana’s flagship university we set a high bar for academic studies, creative accomplishments, and scientific exploration. ELCS aims to prepare students for a meaningful career from day one. Participating in career-building and experiential learning activities such as student jobs, internships, volunteerism, and research will allow you to find your passion and gain the skills to pursue it.

Our services are for current students and for Alumni, up to two years post-graduation. We offer a variety of support services, including resume & cover letter review, job search & networking strategies, interview prep, career planning, internship search and several other things!

We engage with local employers and to help them connect with UM students, primarily via events, including career fairs. We are expanding our relationships by working more directly with individual employers to learn what they are searching for and essentially bridge that gap between student and employer needs/expectations.
