Every Boise, Idaho student will get a laptop this fall. The reason? Another possible outbreak

The district aims to be ready for any possible outbreaks next school year. And that starts with purchasing laptops and iPads for all of the district’s 25,000 students, said Brian Walker, who led the district’s plan to provide one-to-one devices for students.

Parents identified the online learning experience as one of their top concerns in a recent school district survey, with 67% of them listing it as their largest disappointment from the spring.
