EDA grant for manufacturers
I wanted to remind you about the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms program. We are a U.S. Economic Development Administration program that helps U.S. companies that are hurt by imports. We offer up to $75,000 in matching federal grants for Montana manufacturers that qualify for our program.
In order to qualify, a company must demonstrate that their business has been negatively impacted by foreign competition.
Eligible companies can use the funds for projects including: marketing, lean manufacturing, quality control certification, product or facility design, export assistance and many others. However, our funds cannot be used by an eligible company to purchase assets, such as equipment.
We also write the grant application for the company at no cost to them.
I have attached a flier with more information about our program and would encourage you to visit our website at: http://www.nwtaac.org for more information.
If you have any questions, would like to learn more, or know of any Montana companies that might be interested in receiving assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me or pass along my contact information.
Sincerely,
Patrick Meuleman
