Dawson County, Carter, Fallon, Prairie and Wibaux counties will make up the Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation

Because state and federal governments are encouraging a regional approach to economic development, the formation of a regional economic development district will benefit member counties in dealing with both levels of government and in gaining funding for projects.
