CubCloud AI Applies to Become Montana’s First Tesla Cybercab Provider

MISSOULA, Mont., Sept. 9, 2026 - CubCloud AI has applied to become Montana's first
 Tesla Cybercab fleet provider. The Missoula-based technology company, which builds
 and operates electrified sites across Montana, submitted its application under the fleet
 operator program Tesla opened on September 3, 2026. If accepted, CubCloud will operate
 the service as CubCab, bringing electric, autonomous rides to Montana communities.

CubCloud will be CubCab's first customer. The initial fleet will carry CubCloud's
 team, its clients, and visitors to and from its Missoula campus, giving the company
 direct operating experience with the vehicles in Montana conditions before wider public
 service begins.

The Cybercab is Tesla's purpose-built electric vehicle for autonomous ride service, with
 no tailpipe emissions and no driver. From Missoula, CubCloud plans to expand to
 Billings, Bozeman, and Butte, and later to Great Falls, Kalispell, and rural Montana.

"Montana passed a law last year saying we want to be a showcase for this technology.
 Somebody from Montana should be the one to prove it works here, on our roads and in
 our winters," said Joshua Rhines, founder and CEO of CubCloud AI. "We already build
 and run electrified sites in Montana. We will be the first ones riding in these cars,
 and we will know they work before we ask anyone else to trust them."

CubCloud is looking for partners and collaborators across the state to make the
 launch bigger than one company can make it alone: hospitals and health systems,
 airports, colleges and universities, employers, resorts, cities and transit agencies,
 and tribal governments. Partners will help shape where CubCab runs first and who it
 serves. Montanans who want to be among the first public riders are invited to get in
