Consultant tweaks branding plan for Helena – "The West’s Learning Center"

Broadened a bit from its initial presentation, a consultant Thursday night offered up a refined brand for Helena http://helenacvb.visitmt.com/ : The West’s Learning Center.

An earlier iteration of the brand focused on marketing Helena as a “learning center for the arts,” but Roger Brooks tweaked the hook to include learning opportunities of all kinds, from visual and performing arts to food, music and recreation.

Brooks and his Washington-based company, Destination Development, have worked for more than a year on developing a brand for the community. The goal, he said, is to find something unique and specific, that people can’t find at home and that will make them want to come to Helena.
