Commerce Awards Funding to 3 Montana Communities to Develop New Affordable Housing

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Three Montana communities will receive grants through the Montana Department of Commerce’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program to assist with the development of affordable housing.

“We all know every Montanan deserves a safe and affordable place to call home,” Montana Department of Commerce Community Development Division Administrator Jennifer Olson said. “These HOME grants will provide housing for our friends and neighbors across the state, as well as provide hundreds of good-paying jobs for residents of those communities.”
