Commerce Awards Funding for More Affordable Homes in Six Montana Communities

The Montana Department of Commerce announced that more than 9.4 million dollars of funding has been allocated to increase the number of affordable homes in six Montana communities.

Specific to Helena, two companies received a combined total of around 3.5 million dollars to support the construction and rehabilitation of 86 homes for families and individuals. 62 of those home will be constructed using the funding, the remaining 24 will rehabilitated homes.

Other areas receiving funding include Billings, Butte, Hamilton, Missoula, and Kalispell.
